PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

As the lead designer for Staples’ promotional flyers, I was responsible for developing unique, strategically-driven creative for each multi-page printed piece. Every flyer presented a fresh opportunity to build a visual story that connected directly to the featured products and promotional themes — spanning cross-category promotions (technology, break room, office supplies), seasonal initiatives (organization, flu season), and specialty categories like mail and ship supplies.

Partnering closely with a copywriter, I led the creative development process, presenting 2–3 distinct concept directions that included cover designs, headline options, and sample two-page spreads to show how the story extended across the full flyer.

Once a concept was selected, I coordinated with merchant teams to gather product information, art directed photoshoots, and styled layouts to reinforce each theme’s core message. Every flyer featured a tailored visual approach — from custom imagery and illustration to thoughtful layout design — ensuring the creative remained fresh, on-brand, and cohesive.

Throughout the process, I maintained consistency using InDesign’s style sheets, managed client feedback rounds, and finalized production-ready files to meet vendor print specifications — overseeing the creative journey from concept to press.
